Help us celebrate the 70th birthday of the NHS

The National Health Service is turning 70 on 5 July 2018.

It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the achievements of one of the nation’s most loved institutions, to appreciate the vital role the service plays in our lives, and to recognise and thank the extraordinary NHS staff – the everyday heroes – who are there to guide, support and care for us, day in, day out.

And we're asking you, what could you get the NHS for our birthday?

We're simply asking you to make a simple pledge to help the NHS. It could be something simple like getting (or/and staying) active, volunteering for the NHS or indeed another health related cause or even just giving your feedback on NHS services you receive!

If you would like to give your NHS a birthday present simply click here here to download the pledge card and email the information asked for to:

There will also be a series of events and actvities throughout the year, which we will update on this page. If you would like us to attend an event or have other suggestions as to how we could celebrate our special birthday then please get in touch: or call: 01707 685 397.
