Maternity Care Matters

Maternity Care Matters

Shaping and improving maternity services in east and north Hertfordshire is at the heart of Maternity Care Matters, a group of parents, midwives, doctors and other health professionals.

Expecting a child is one of the most exciting and also one of the scariest times for parents. It can be hard to know what to expect, what to do, or where to find information. The aim of the group is to give help and support throughout the whole experience, and to make this as easy and happy a time for you as possible.

In some areas, this support group is called Maternity Services Liaison Commitee (MSLC); click here to find our more about what they do. There's also lots of information about all stages - confirming the pregnancy, giving birth, caring for your newborn at home, and being a family. Just visit the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust maternity unit web pages.
