From 1 July 2022, Clinical Commissioning Groups will be cease to exist. Commissioning functions and information that has been previously held by East and North Hertfordshire CCG is transferring to the new NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (HWEICB) on 1 July 2022.
HWEICB will become the new data controller. Any questions about the use of data (including patient data) by the new ICB should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org
There are no changes to how local residents access NHS frontline services in Hertfordshire and West Essex as part of these changes.
Hertfordshire Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy (IDVA) service
The Refuge-Hertfordshire IDVA service supports women and men who are experiencing domestic violence and abuse.
Refuge is the country’s largest provider of specialist support for those experiencing domestic violence and abuse. Our services change lives and save lives.
As of 1st October 2016 Refuge-Hertfordshire IDVA service, funded by a range of Hertfordshire agencies, will provide confidential, non-judgmental, independent specialist support to women and men across Hertfordshire experiencing:
- Domestic violence and abuse
- Coercive control, intimidation, threats, physical abuse, emotional abuse
- Sexual abuse within an intimate relationship
- Forced marriage
- So-called ‘honour’-based violence
- Female genital mutilation
The service will provide tailor-made:
- One to one support from a specialist practitioner
- Emotional and practical support
- Signposting to local external agencies (such as solicitors)
