Emergency health services across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire are experiencing major pressures this week.  Accident and Emergency departments are being stretched by the number of patients arriving at their doors, as is the ambulance service.

Please don’t take norovirus into hospitals or care homes

If you have norovirus - also known as the winter vomiting bug - please don't visit relatives in hospital or care homes if you’ve been sick or had diarrhoea in the last 48 hours.  The bug spreads easily and can make patients very poorly.
