From 1 July 2022, Clinical Commissioning Groups will be cease to exist. Commissioning functions and information that has been previously held by East and North Hertfordshire CCG is transferring to the new NHS Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board (HWEICB) on 1 July 2022.

Referral to WW (Weight Watchers)

Hertfordshire County Council, East and North Hertfordshire and Herts Valleys CCGs jointly commission a referral scheme to offer a FREE 12 week subscription to WW (Weight Watchers) for Hertfordshire patients who are registered to a GP practice in the county and who meet the criteria below. 

Inclusion Criteria

  • 16 years and above
  • Body Mass Index (BMI) >30
  • Motivated to lose weight
  • Able to attend weekly support meetings for 12 weeks

Exclusion Criteria

  • Pregnant women
  • Currently have an eating disorder
  • Attended WW or a similar commercial weight management programme in previous 3 months
  • Previously referred, re-referral is not permitted or funded
